Horse Racing Betting, The Risk Free Way

April 11, 2007

This is one of my favourite articles, it is basically an arbitrage system software that places a high bet with one bookmaker lets say a back at 8/1 and then lays the same bet with another bookmaker at lets say 6/1, the software then greens up the difference and you win if the horse losses or wins the race!

The main problem i have found with this kind of betting is that quite a few people know about this now so the difference in bookmaker prices are quite small. meaning you don’t make much unless you place a significant bet.

The problem with putting on a large bet is that if the market price moves significantly while you are in the middle of placing your arb bets, you no longer have a win win but a lose lose scenario.

This is my view anyhow.
